A View From Within Distance Counseling

If you have clicked on this tab, you are either questioning your own behaviors; in relationship with someone whom you believe has a sex addiction; a therapist looking for a referral source; or just curious. However, you got to this tab, I am grateful.  You have taken the first step toward discovery.

For the questioning sex addict, may I suggest you pat your self on the back for taking a look at your behaviors and how they may be negatively impacting your life.  I have included on my website an extensive list of links.  Please continue to research your options for treatment.  Feel free to email or call me for a consultation re: treatment options that are available to you.

For the person who is in relationship with someone whom you believe has a sex addiction, I encourage you to seek therapy to process your 'betrayal trauma'.  Many partners of sex addicts come to this web page looking for a therapist for the addict.  I would like to suggest that you let them look for their own treatment and you reach out to me for individual therapy.  You will need a therapist that is trained in Sex Addiction to adequately companion you  as the addict seeks his or her therapy.

Therapist referral:  I am aCSAT Certified Sex Addiction Therapist.  I will be happy to consult with you and discuss what works best for your client referral.  Please feel free to call or email me.  865-724-4923 or Kathleen.puckettnoh8@hushmail.com
