    I  have an extensive work history in the Human Services: Inpatient therapist; outpatient therapist/ partial hospitalization programs ; substance abuse inpatient and outpatient; sexual identity issues; gender issues; Hormone letters and SRS letters;

     My preferred theoretical perspective is Reality Therapy based on William Glasser's choice theory.  I also incorporate Bowenian Family Therapy with all my clients, with the use of a genogram as a tool for discovery.   In addition, I believe in a person centered approach - "therapy is about helping the client to find their voice."

     One of my favorite quotes from Albert Einstein is, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result."  If nothing changes . . . nothing changes.
